Rick Perry Kicks Off Florida Efforts With Tour of State

With the Presidency 5 straw poll in Orlando and two debates in Florida coming up later this month, Gov. Rick Perry of Texas is ramping up his efforts as he continues his bid for the Republican presidential nomination.

On Sept. 13, a day after a debate with the other Republican candidates in Tampa, Perry will be sprinting across Florida in his Sunshine State Kickoff with events in Tampa, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach scheduled for that day. Perry will also bein Orlando on Friday, Sept. 23 as he hits the Sunshine State for the Presidency 5 event backed by the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) and the American Conservative Unions (ACU) Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) event.
