Republicans, Let's Never Ever Invite Ted Cruz Back

Suddenly I remember why I disliked Ted Cruz so much. Now that he's blaming other folks for his failure to deliver ("Cruz campaign: "We could have stopped Trump if Rubio became running mate"), it all comes flooding back.

Cruz, the only candidate in 2016 who can see through a keyhole with both eyes, is a seriously flawed human being, people. And if he comes back in four years, eight years, how many years for another run at the presidency, I hope Americans will remember this moment.

Here's a guy whose strategy in the first three months of the campaign was to bromance Donald Trump, clap him on the back, then, when Trump only got stronger, he brings in Carly Fioria as his running mate. After Fiorina works her butt off for Senator Sleazy in a campaign she had no chance of saving, he kicks her to the curb, declaring, she was my second choice anyway.

Classy, Ted.

Thank heaven Marco Rubio, who was already down, had the good sense to stay away from a Cruz downhill express steaming off a cliff to the bottom of the canyon.
