Reports Have Obama Supporting Hillary Clinton Instead of Joe Biden in 2016

Oh no, for O and Joe! Edward Klein is releasing a new edition of "The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House" in which he insists Bill Clintons major role in the presidents re-election bid in 2012 came at a heavy price. In a preview of his new edition carried in the New York Post, Klein is claiming that Clinton agreed to speak for Obama at the Democratic convention and campaign for the president in return for Obama throwing his support to an old rival -- Hillary Clinton -- in 2016. If thats the case, Hillary Clinton should easily cruise to the Democratic nomination.

If Klein is correct, Obama's support for Clinton essentially ends Joe Bidens chances for ending up in the Oval Office. National polls show Clinton routing the Democratic field in 2016 with Biden in a very distant second. There's only room for one administration candidate -- and as their performance in the 2008 primaries shows, Hillary Clinton is a much more promising presidential candidate than Biden.
