Report: Romney, Bachmann, Gingrich to Join Glenn Beck in Jerusalem

GOP presidential hopefuls Mitt Romney, Michele Bachmann and Newt Gingrich are expected to join Glenn Beck at a rally in Jerusalem in August, according to a news report.

"Beck aims to show support for Israel by recreating last August's rally 'to restore honor,' which he held in Washington, D.C.," the Israeli news site Ynet reported.

"This year, the Wailing Wall will replace Lincoln Memorial as the backdrop for the event, which will take place at Jerusalem's Old City and the Teddy Stadium simultaneously."

The "Restore Courage" rally is set for Aug. 24.

Ynet, in an unconfirmed report, said additional U.S. attendees will include Sarah Palin. Joe Lieberman and Mike Huckabee.

VIP tickets for 600 prime seats at the Davidson Center have reportedly been sold out -- for $5,000 a pop, Ynet said. The main events will be broadcast on giant screens at the stadium and Sultan's Pool.

After returning from a trip to Jerusalem last month, Beck, a Mormon, declared, "God is involved in man's affairs, but so is the force of darkness. I believe I've been asked to stand in Jerusalem. Many in the history of man have had the opportunity to stand with the Jewish people ... and they have failed."
