Report: Bill Nelson Not One of Jim DeMint's Main Targets in 2012

Jeremy Jacobs from National Journal is reporting that U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., has four Democrats targeted in 2012 -- but Florida Democrat U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson is not one of them.

DeMint certainly won kudos for backing Marco Rubio early. But Nelson is not one of his chief targets in 2012. Instead, DeMint is targeting four Senate Democrats representing states that lean Republican: Jon Tester of Montana,Ben Nelson of Nebraska, Kent Conrad of North Dakota and Joe Manchin of West Virginia.
