Rebecca Negron Raises $283,000 in Second Quarter
Republican congressional hopeful Rebecca Negron raised nearly $300,000 in the second quarter of 2016, accoridng to campaign finance reports.
Negron raised over $283,000 in the second quarter of 2016, her strongest fundraising quarter to date, bringing her fundraising total to over $912,000.
The South Florida Republican will be running for Florida's 18th Congressional District, which is currently represented by U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy.
Several groups have endorsed Negron in her battle to become the Republican nominee in CD 18. Florida Parents Against Common Core and Maggie's List have both given Negron the the thumbs up.
“I truly appreciate all of the support my campaign has received, from local citizens who share the same concerns about our community, to national groups who understand the need for strong, conservative voices in Congress,” said Negron. “As we near Election Day, I will continue to earn each and every vote, by spreading my conservative ideas, including balancing our congressional budget, strengthening our economy, and fighting in opposition of Common Core, returning education decisions to states, school districts, parents and teachers."
