Protesters Prove to Be Very Distracting at Charlie Crist's Little Havana Field Office Opening

Charlie Crist opened up a new field office for his gubernatorial campaign in Little Havana on Saturday, but it doesn't seem like everyone there was too happy about it.

A video of the opening in Little Havana posted by Javier Manjarres of the Shark Tank blog showed the protesters weren't going to let Crist open his office without a little disruption.

"Shame on you! Shame on you!" the protesters shouted as a speaker attempted to play up Crist to the audience.

But as the protesters' volume grew, the former governor quickly grabbed the microphone and began to engage with protesters.

"We have the right to speak too," he said to them. "God bless you. We love you."

Crist then began his own counter chant.

"We love you! We love you!" he shouted on the microphone, later joined by his supporters in the amorous chant.

Crist wasn't the only one who seemed bothered by the protesters. Crist's campaign manager, Omar Khan, said he "wasn't going to be distracted" by protesters.

"They can keep on screaming," he said. "We're here to fight against the noise and fight against the noise they put on TV."

Crist said the protesters and Republicans were "afraid of losing power" and vowed he was going to give the power "back to the people."

Charlie eventually got to his talking points, but he was evidently distracted by the protesters. By the time he started bringing up the high points of his campaign, it seemed somewhat rushed.
