Poll: No Second Term for Obama based on Job Performance

On the heels of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, the majority of voters polled told The Hill that President Obama doesnt deserve a second term.

The poll of 1,000 likely voters, conducted Sept. 2 by Pulse Opinion Research, recorded that 52 percent of respondents believe the nation is worse off than four years ago, and that 54 percent say Obama should get re-elected based upon his job performance, The Hill reported.

More voters in The Hills poll think Romney will win the fall election than think Obama will win -- despite state-by-state polls that suggest the president would have an edge in a number of swing states if the election were held today, The Hill reported.
