Poll: Barack Obama Worst President Since WWII

Bad news for Barack Obama: a plurality of voters think he's the worst president since World War II.

A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday found 33 percent believe Obama is the worst president since WWII, followed closely by former president George W. Bush, who 28 percent said was the worst president.

Richard Nixon, who found himself in hot water as a result of the Watergate scandal, received 13 percent of the vote, while Jimmy Carter received 8 percent.

"Over the span of 69 years of American history and 12 presidencies, President Barack Obama finds himself with President George W. Bush at the bottom of the popularity barrel," said Tim Malloy,assistant director of the Quinnipiac University poll.

The poll also found 45 percent of voters believe the country would have been better off if Obama's 2012 opponent Mitt Romney would have won the election. A smaller number -- 38 percent -- said the country would be worse off if Romney had won.
