Picture of Democratic Apathy: Protest Against Rick Scott Fizzles

It sounded big, but ended up looking oh-so-tiny.

A call to protest outside a Solantic Urgent Care office in Orlando announced:

"We will be high visibility sign waving to create a narrative that Rick Scott is corrupt and wont allow the people of Florida see what is contained within the deposition. We will highlight the fact that Rick Scott is hiding the information that is contained in his deposition he gave on behalf of his company, Solantic Urgent Care."

But the only "narrative" coming out of this Friday flop was a prolonged yawn.

Organizer Clifford Davy -- writing at the "Organizing for America" website, my.barackobama.com -- claimed two-dozen "affiliated groups," ranging alphabetically from Air Force for Obama to Winter Park for Obama.

But a grand total of seven people showed up on South Orange Avenue to wave a couple of signs before disbanding Friday afternoon. So much for the ability of the Obama-Sink machine to whip up the masses.
