Patrick Murphy Unveils Senate Campaign Team

U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Fla., named Josh Wolf as the campaign manager for his U.S. Senate bid while Mandi Karp, who worked with him in 2014, will be his finance director.

Wolf led former Massachusetts Treasurer Steven Grossmans failed bid for the Democratic gubernatorial election last year and managed U.S. Rep. Ami Beras, D-Calif., campaign in 2012. Karp helped Murphy raise more than $5.3 million last year when he defeated former state Rep. Carl Domino.

This is one of the most important Senate races in the country, and Josh has the experience to help us win next November, Murphy said on Friday. Im very happy that he has joined our team, and I look forward to working with him as we begin to share our message with the entire state of Florida.

"For the last two years, Mandi has worked with me to ensure we have the resources we need to get our message out to the people of Floridas 18th District, Murphy added. As one of the top fundraisers of the cycle, we were able to run one of the most efficient campaigns in the country, and Im glad Mandi is staying on our team as we begin this campaign for the U.S. Senate.
