Pastor Terry Jones Shooting Incident Keeps Florida Quran-Burner in the News

On Friday morning CNN called Pastor Terry Jones "the news gift that keeps on giving," and why not?

The Quran-burning Gainesville pastor accidentally discharged his firearm in a TV station parking lot in Detroit Thursday night. Apparently the shot went into the floor of his car and no one was hurt.

Happily, the FOX-owned WJBK television station where the incident took place has a policy of not allowing guns inside the building, or who knows what might have happened.

Jones had planned -- and apparently, still does -- to hold a demonstration in Detroit on Friday outside the biggest mosque in the United States to protest Islamic law.

Not only does he face possible charges over the shooting incident, he's due at a jury trial Friday morning to decide if the rally can go ahead.
