Pam Bondi: Map Out Sex Offenders Before Trick-or-Treating

Attorney General Pam Bondi advised parents to visit the Florida Department of Law Enforcements Sexual Offenders and Predators Website before sending the kids out to trick-or-treat for Halloween.

I encourage parents to use the Florida Sexual Offenders and Predators website to plan a safe route for trick-or-treating and to alert authorities of any known sex offenders or predators who distribute candy to children this Halloween, Bondi stated in a release.

Florida law prohibits sex offenders from distributing candy or other items to children on Halloween. The website gives lists of all registered sex offenders living withinfive miles of any address.
