Pam Bondi: I'm Definitely Running for Re-Election as Florida Attorney General in 2014

Florida's attorney general, Pam Bondi, emphatically rebutted suggestions by one reporter that she might not run for re-election as the Sunshine State's chief legal officer in 2014.

"That's a billion, billion percent false," she told the reporter. "Whoever told you that is a very bad source! . . .I plan on running for re-election for attorney general."

The reporter (not one of ours!) had told the attorney general a source said Bondi was working on a contract with FOX News Channel. The question came at the conclusion of a Monday afternoon meeting of Bondi'sStatewide Task Force on Prescription Drug Abuse and Newborns.

[UPDATE: A high-ranking spokesperson for FOX News has confirmed to Sunshine State News that General Bondi is not working on any sort of contract with their organization.]
