Pam Bondi Honors Seven for Victims' Rights Work

Attorney General Pam Bondi, along with Gov. Rick Scott and Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam, recognized four law enforcement officers and three advocates to commemorate National Crime Victims Rights Week in a ceremony Wednesday in the Cabinet meeting room in the Capitol.

Over the past three decades, we have made significant progress in promoting victims rights, said Attorney General Pam Bondi. The men and women we recognized today have selflessly helped crime victims on their paths to recovery.

Those recognized Wednesday were:

Pasco County Sheriffs Office Detective Michael Rosa, presented with the first-ever David S. Crawford Award, named after St. Petersburg Police Officer Crawford, who died last year in the line of duty.

Elaine Woodson, victim advocate, Monroe County.

Nicole Bishop, director of Palm Beach County Victim Services.

Chaplain Steve Settle, Martin County Sheriffs Office.

Detective John Spoor, Pinellas County Sheriffs Office.

Detectives Tammy Alois and Janna Kriplean, Coconut Creek Police Department.
