Pam Bondi: Death of Broward Deputy 'A Sad Reminder of the Risk'

Attorney General Pam Bondi released the following statement on the death of veteran Broward Sheriffs Office motorcycle deputy Christopher Schaub:

My thoughts and prayers are with Deputy Schaubs family, friends and law enforcement colleagues, Bondi stated in a release. Deputy Schaubs death serves as a sad reminder of the risk law enforcement officers take every day to protect our communities.

Schaub, 47, died Wednesday after his vehicle was involved in a crash after an accident in Pompano Beach, according to NBCMiami.
