Orlando and Miami Among Top 10 Rudest Cities
In case you didnt know, there are many Floridians -- the good citizens living in the family-friendly Sunshine State -- that are rude.
More to the point, those in Miami and Orlando are perceived that way by readers of Travel+ Leisure.
The two Florida cities scored places in the top 10 of Americas Rudest Cities.
Orlando is No. 10. Miami landed at No. 2, just behind New York.
Others on the list are, in order: New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Boston, Dallas, Atlanta, Phoenix and Baltimore.
The ranking was part of the magazine's annual Americas Favorite Cities survey.
Miami was known for being gorgeous, a little wild, and terrible drivers, according to Travel + Leisure.
Orlando may be able to blame some of the problem on its tourists.
One wonders, though, if its locals who are snapping at visitors, or if its just other tourists, who are cranky after waiting in theme-park lines, the magazine stated. Perhaps because of that, voters really loved one thing about being in Orlando: getting back to their hotels.
