Opening Friday: 'I Want Your Money' Slaps Democrats
In what could become a conservative cult classic, "I Want Your Money" opens in theaters Friday.
According to the film's promotional announcement:
"Combining in-depth interviews, fiery criticism and politically charged animated sequences, 'I Want Your Money' is a no-holds-barred critique of the vast expansion of the federal government under the Obama administration and Democratic Congress."
Juxtaposing footage of Presidents Barack Obama and Ronald Reagan, the movie features Newt Gingrich, Steve Forbes, Ed Meese, Mike Huckabee, John Stossel, Stephen Moore of The Wall Street Journal on the right, with archival footage of Franklin Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson and Jimmy Carter on the left.
"I Want Your Money" is a bit California-centric, but there's a message for Floridians as director Ray Griggs presents alternatives to the current direction of government.
