Obama Officially Hides From Public Info About Border Agent's Death
If the Justice Department has nothing to hide, how come the Obama administration abruptly sealed court records that deliver the goods -- I'm talking about full details here -- of how Mexican drug smugglers murdered a U.S. Border Patrol agent. And it all happened with a gun connected to a failed federal experiment that allowed firearms to be smuggled into Mexico.
Who can blame the members of Congress who are calling for Attorney General Eric Holder's resignation?
The White House press office confirmed Thursday that the president approved sealing the records. What this means is, not only will the media be shut out, the public will be, too. So much for an administration that calls itself the most transparent ever.
Remember, the rifle used to kill federal agent Brian Terry a year ago in a canyon in Arizona was part of Operation Fast and Furious. That was the scheme-gone-wrong conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms that allowed guns to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels.
