Obama, Biden: 'Buck Up' and 'Stop Whining' Dems

President Barack Obama, in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, says Democrats need to "buck up."

Separately on Monday, Vice President Joe Biden told Democrats at a fund-raising event in New Hampshire to "stop whining," according to MSNBC.

The remarks prove the top leaders of the Democratic Party acknowledge the looming threat that Republicans are poised to take control of the House after the midterm elections. The Obama administration is trying to prevent that from happening by energizing Democrats to get them to the polls.

"People need to shake off this lethargy. People need to buck up," Obama said in the Rolling Stone interview scheduled to be published Friday.

Biden warned that Democrats will lose if the November election is a referendum on how people feel about the economy.
