Obama Up 55,832 in Florida with Three Counties Still Counting

Hard to imagine that with only three counties remaining there are enough absentee ballots still uncounted that would allow Mitt Romney to overtake President Obama for Floridas now inconsequential 29 electoral votes.

Still, no media outlet has called Florida for Obama as Duval, Palm Beach and Broward counties continue to count absentee ballots, according to the Florida Department of State.

Obama has so far received 4,180,697 votes to 4,124,865 for Romney, a difference of 55,832.

County supervisors of elections have until noon Saturday to submit their first certified vote tallies.
