NYT: Alan Grayson Not Going Quietly
Submitted by Kevin Derby on January 3, 2011 - 10:21am
The Grey Lady has a piece on Rep. Alan Grayson, "the pugnaciously partisan, verbal-bomb-tossing, liberal folk hero of the 111th Congress."
Grayson did not hold back any of the rhetoric he's become known for in his one term in office, but saved much of his criticism for his fellow Democrats for pushing too timid an agenda. He specifically criticized President Barack Obama for cutting the tax deal with Republicans that extended unemployment benefits, but also Bush-era tax cuts for those making more than $250,000 per year.
