NY Times Profile on Jeb Bush Sets Off Media Buzz on Where He Goes From Here
The profile in the New York Times on former Gov. Jeb Bush seems to have taken on a life of its own -- generating almost 400 stories in the past 24 hours, according to Google News -- not to mention a topic of panel discussion on Hannitys show on Fox News.
There were more than a few pop psychology theories that former President George W. Bush rose to power to avenge his father -- against Ann Richards, against Bill Clinton, against Saddam Hussein. Reading these pieces on Jeb Bush, I wonder if the same thing will occur if the former Florida governor runs for the presidency. Its unfortunate because there are other forces driving Jeb Bush than continuing dynastic ambitions.
One thing is for certain. The article and the buzz about it will lead to an increase in speculation on Jeb Bushs presidential ambitions in 2012.
