NRSC Hits Patrick Murphy on Obamacare Taxes
The National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC) took aim at U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Fla., as he continues his bid for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. On Monday, Rubio launched a presidential bid and is not expected to run for a second term in the Senate.
The NRSC hit Murphy on costs associated with President Barack Obamas federal health-care law on Wednesday.
No matter how you look at Patrick Murphys Obamacare, if you dont have health insurance the IRS will tax you approximately $172 or if you took an Obamacare subsidy then you could pay about $530 in an unexpected tax, said Matt Connelly, a spokesman for the NRSC. These additional penalties are just the latest examples of how Obamacare has hurt Florida families.
