NRSC Hits Patrick Murphy on Effectiveness

This week, Inside Gov ranked U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Fla., as one of the least effective representatives in Congress, leading the National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC) to fire away as he continues his bid for the U.S. Senate in 2016. 

“Patrick Murphy has orchestrated quite an arrangement for himself,” said Greg Blair, a spokesman for the NRSC, on Tuesday. “He takes a six-figure, taxpayer-funded salary, accomplishes nothing, and then asks for a promotion. The good news for Murphy is that he’ll have plenty of free time on his hands after Floridians reject his thin record and hollow agenda. After all, voters tend to prefer an elected official who will fight for something besides keeping his schedule clear.”
