NRCC: Nancy Pelosi and Democrats Clear Decks for Joel Cantor Against David Jolly

With the Tampa Bay Times reporting that the Democratic leadership chased Manuel Sykes out of the race to challenge newly elected U.S. Rep. David Jolly, R-Fla., the National Republican Congressional Committee (DCCC) signaled on Thursday they expect the Democrats to try to clear the decks for businessman Joel Cantor to run. Democrats did something similar at the start of the special election Jolly won when they shoved aside Jessica Ehlrich for former state CFO Alex Sink.

Nancy Pelosi and her Washington Democrats just dont get it, said Katie Prill, a spokeswoman for the NRCC. They continue to bully Democrat candidates out of the CD 13 race in hopes that they find someone to put up millions of their own personal money so the DCCC doesnt have to. Its unfortunate Pelosi and the DCCC were able to bamboozle Alex Sink into running but now we are all left wondering who the next sucker of the DCCC will be.
