New Poll Shows Obama's Health-Care Law Remains Unpopular

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released on Thursday finds President Barack Obamas federal health-care law remains very unpopular. Almost a majority of those surveyed -- 49 percent -- say the law is a bad idea, while only 37 percent think it is a good one. This is the largest percentage who have ever said the law is a bad idea since the poll started asking the question back in 2009. The poll of 1,000 adults was taken from May 30-June 2 and had a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percent.
This result is similar to a Rasmussen Reports poll released earlier in the week. These polls are welcome news for Republicans as Democrats are expected to embrace the law more in the 2014 election cycle.
