New Line of Attack from McCollum Camp: Rick Scott Cannot Win

Matt Williams, campaign manager for GOP gubernatorial candidate Bill McCollum, blasted Rick Scott in an e-mail just sent out to supporters.

The truth is Rick Scott oversaw the most massive Medicare fraud scheme in American history, and now he wants to run the fourth largest state in the nation, wrote Williams. Thus far, he has chosen simply to hide behind misleading ads and apologize for making mistakes that he takes responsibility for. In Rick Scotts reality, taking responsibility means taking $300 million and running out the door of the company you created while the feds prosecute your employees for ripping off veterans and seniors in the most ruthless manner possible.

Now that Scott is ahead of McCollum in the polls, Williams laid out the line of attack for the McCollum camp -- Scott cannot win.

Alex Sink and the Democratic establishment would like nothing more than to run against a candidate with such troubling baggage, wrote Williams. Make no mistake, electing Rick Scott in August would mean losing the Florida governors mansion for the first time in 12 years.
