New Ad: Rick Scott and Alex Sink are "Economic Terrorists"
Farid Khavari, who is running for governor with no party affiliation, launched his first radio ad of the campaign. In the ad, Khavari plays up his experience as an economist and tries to reassure Florida voters that they can trust him despite his Iranian birth. He also takes aim at the Republican gubernatorial candidate and Democratic nominee, state CFO Alex Sink, labeling them economic terrorists.
Khavaris running mate, Darcy Richardson, probably best known for his work as a historian and pundit of third parties, conducted a three-part interview over at Third Party and Independent Daily earlier in the month. Richardson is, as always, impressive with his staggering command of political history.
Khavari and Richardson have made support of a state bank the core issue of their campaign -- winning them the endorsement of 2008 Socialist Party presidential candidate Brian Moore who ran against Sink in the Democratic primary.
