With Nancy Pelosi in Town to Help Suzanne Kosmas, Sandy Adams Links Them
U.S House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is headed to Florida on Wednesday night to help raise funds for Democratic U.S. Rep. Suzanne Kosmas -- and Kosmas Republican opponent, Rep. Sandy Adams of Oviedo, is firing away.
On the campaign trail, Suzanne Kosmas tells voters that she is independent from the national Democrats that are spending our grandchildren into poverty and standing in the way of our economic recovery, wrote Adams to supporters. But tonight she is in Washington side by side with Nancy Pelosi raising money to further their liberal agenda.
Adams unleashed a number of points, looking to link Kosmas to Pelosi bypointing out that the Florida Democrat backed the House speaker 93 percent of the time; backed the stimulus program and President Barack Obama's new federal health-care laws.
This is not the record of an independent representative, continued Adams. It is the record of someone who has forgotten who she works for.
