Nan Rich Continues to Draw Fire from RPOF on Taxes
The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) continues to take aim at former Senate Democratic Leader Nan Rich on Gov.Rick Scott's proposal to cut taxes. Rich is the only major candidate currently running for the Democratic nomination though other candidates, including former Gov. Charlie Crist, are expected to enter the contest.
"Nan Rich has now confirmed that she's against Rick Scott's proposal for $500 million in tax cuts to help Florida's middle class," said RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry on Wednesday. It's not surprising that Florida's leading liberal has deluded herself to believe that job creators and middle class families don't need or want their taxes to be reduced. In true liberal fashion, she also believes that tax cuts and investing in our schools and students are mutually exclusive. Floridians should be proud to have a governor in Rick Scott that focuses on their top two priorities: supporting job creators and schools."
