Move Over, Donald Trump: Arnold Schwarzenegger to Take Over as Celebrity Apprentice Host

Celebrity Apprentice contestants might be hearing "You're terminated" instead "You're fired," because former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will be taking over as the show's host for the 2016-2017 television season.

NBC cut ties with former host Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump in June after he announced his run for president and made some controversial comments about Mexican immigrants.

Schwarzenegger said he was looking forward to hopping on as CEO because he's always been a big fan of Celebrity Apprentice.

"I am thrilled to bring my experience to the boardroom and to continue to raise millions of dollars for charity," he said in a statement. "Let's get started!"

The Terminator star also took to Snapchat to express his excitement about his Celebrity Apprentice role.

"I cannot wait to say 'you're fired,' or 'you're terminated,' or 'you won't be back,'" he told viewers.
