More Sheriffs Back Pam Bondi for AG

Republican attorney general candidate Pam Bondi announced on Friday that she was receiving the endorsement of 10 more current and former sheriffs -- raising her total to 35. Bondis new backers include Sheriff John Rutherford of Duval County and two former sheriffs now serving in the Senate -- Charlie Dean and Steve Oelrich.

As a career prosecutor, Pam Bondi has been on the front lines with our law enforcement officers, fighting to put criminals behind bars and make our state a safer place," said Volusia County Sheriff Ben Johnson. As attorney general, Pam will provide the kind of leadership that law enforcement can support, and we look forward to working with her to protect our state.
