Monica Crowley Backs Adam Hasner's U.S. Senate Bid
Former state House Majority Leader Adam Hasner announced on Tuesday that his bid for the Republican nomination to take on Democratic U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson in 2012 is getting additional support from a national figure affiliated with the conservative movement -- Fox News pundit Moncia Crowley.
"It's vitally important that we send conservative reinforcements to Washington to help take back the Senate," said Crowley. "I've followed Adam's career for many years. He's a policy-driven leader who isn't afraid to tackle the big issues. He's got the courage to challenge Democrats and Republicans on spending, debt, and the other critical issues facing our country. I don't often weigh in on Republican primaries, but Florida is a critical state, and conservatives across the country need to support Adam, help him win the Republican nomination, and help him retire Bill Nelson."
"We're honored to have Monica Crowley's support," said Hasner. "Monica is a no-nonsense conservative who understands the challenges facing our country. Just like many of the Floridians I talk to each day, Monica understands the need to send principled conservatives to Washington who'll have the courage to stand up to Democrats and Republicans responsible for out-of-control spending and our rising debt."
