Money Flowing into GOP Battle to Take on Kosmas

Despite raking in $1.36 million so far for her reelection bid, U.S. Rep. Suzanne Kosmas has drawn three serious Republican challengers.

Former Ruth Chris Steakhouse CEO Craig Miller is boasting that he has brought in more than $341,000 to his campaign coffers -- though the campaign does not note that $200,000 of that came from Millers own funds.

Rep. Sandy Adams, R-Orlando, has raised almost $287,000 and has almost $168,000 on hand-but $100,000 of that came out her own personal accounts.

Winter Park City Commisioner and Vice Mayor Karen Diebel has brought in more than $333.000 and has $221,000 on hand.

Its going to be an interesting contest. With the recent endorsement of former Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-CO, Diebel is stressing her own conservative credentials on immigration and questioning Millers. Miller insists he is the conservative in the race and his site plays up his connections with the Tea Party movement and includes a photo with Sarah Palin.

With the legislative session soon ending, Adams will be more active on the campaign trail for what looks to be shaping up as one of the more intriguing political battles in Florida.
