Moise Starting to Get Beltway Support
While he faces a crowded field in the Democratic primary, Rudy Moises bid for Congress is starting to build support in the Beltway.
Citizens for Global Solutions Political Action Committee, which advocates for greater American participation in global affairs and the United Nations, has released its first list of endorsed candidates for the 2010 congressional elections.
While most of the Global Solutions endorsements ended up with incumbents, the group backed three challengers for U.S. House seats including Moise, the only endorsement they made in Florida. Moise is running for Congress in a crowded Democratic primary in the 17th Congressional District.
U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek, who is giving up the congressional seat to run for U.S. Senate, has received an A on the most recent Citizens for Global Solutions report card. Meek has filled out the groups questionnaire but has yet to receive an endorsement.
