Mitt Romney Leads Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich in New Hampshire
A poll of likely voters in the New Hampshire Republican primary released by Suffolk University/7NEWS (WHDH TV) late Monday found that former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts has a commanding lead in the nations first presidential primary.
Romney takes 41 percent, followed by U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas and former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich who are tied for second with 14 percent each. Former Gov. Jon Huntsman of Utah stands in fourth with 9 percent followed by businessman Herman Cain with 8 percent. Former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania garners 3 percent followed by Gov. Rick Perry of Texas with 2 percent and U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota with 1 percent.
The poll of 400 likely voters in New Hampshires Republican presidential primary was conducted Nov. 16-20 and had a margin of error of +/- 4.9 percent.
