Mitt Romney Leads Rick Santorum in Another Poll of Wisconsin

With Wisconsin bringing 42 delegates to the Republican convention in Tampa come August, the Badger State ranks as the largest prize on the table on Tuesday. According to a poll released by We Ask America on Monday, Mitt Romney leads in Wisconsin. This is the second poll released on Monday that shows Romney ahead there.

Romney leads in the poll of likely Wisconsin Republican primary voters with 39 percent followed by Rick Santorum in second with 31 percent. Ron Paul stands in distant third with 16 percent, right ahead of Newt Gingrich who is behind him with 15 percent.

The poll of 1,173 likely Wisconsin Republican primary voters was taken on April 1 and had a margin of error of +/- 2.86 percent.
