Mitt Romney Gets Endorsements in N.H. and Iowa

On Wednesday, Republican presidential hopeful former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts unveiled three big endorsements that will play well in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Romney announced that he had gained the backing of former Iowa House Speaker Brent Siegrist and former New Hampshire House Speakers Harold Burns and George Roberts.

I am proud to have the support of these distinguished Iowa and New Hampshire House speakers. They have made a significant contribution to their states and have taken strong stands for the fiscally conservative principles of limited taxation and smaller government, Romney said in a statement I look forward to campaigning with them across Iowa and New Hampshire in the final weeks before the caucuses and the first-in-the-nation primary.
