
Mitt Romney Cruises in New Hampshire in New Poll
A new poll found New Hampshire is Mitt Romneys to lose.
The poll from Magellan Strategies found the former Massachusetts governor in firm control of the first presidential primary, taking 42 percent. Two sitting members of Congress -- Michele Bachmann of Minnesota and Ron Paul of Texas -- were tied for second with 10 percent. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was in fourth with 7 percent followed by former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota took 5 percent and former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich of Georgia garnered 3 percent. Businessman Herman Cain and former Gov. Jon Huntsman of Utah tied with 3 percent each, while former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania took 2 percent.
The poll of 727 likely Republican primary voters was taken on June 14 and June 15 and had a margin of error of +/- 3.63 percent.
