MIT Professor: Mitt Romney is 'Lying' About Health Care Law

Mitt Romney is "lying" when he tries to distinguish his Massachusetts health-care plan from Obamacare, an MIT professor says.

The problem is there is no way to say that, Jonathan Gruber told Capital New York. Because theyre the same [expletive deleted] bill. He just cant have his cake and eat it too."

Gruber, whose ideas helped craft Romneycare, said, "Basically, you know, its the same bill. He can try to draw distinctions and stuff, but hes just lying.

"The only big difference is he didnt have to pay for his. Because the federal government paid for it. Where at the federal level, we have to pay for it, so we have to raise taxes.
