Mike Lee Backs Ron DeSantis' Congressional Bid

Attorney and veteran Ron DeSantis continues to reel in impressive endorsements as he runs for the Republican nomination for a new congressional district stretching from the suburbs of Jacksonville to Volusia County. On Monday, DeSantis announced that he had garnered the support of U.S. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Ut, a tea party favorite who defeated longtime incumbent Robert Bennett in the 2010 Republican primary.

"I have seen a lot of candidates and Ron DeSantis is one of the most impressive I have encountered," Lee said in a statement released on Monday.
