Mike Huckabee Unveils 'Pledge to Vote for Conservatives' Site
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008 and is considering another attempt at it in 2012, unveiled a new aspect of his HuckPACs website on Wednesday to help Republican candidates in Novembers election.
Huckabee, who moved to Florida earlier in the year and has been active in working with Republican candidates in the Sunshine State, showed off the Pledge to Vote for Conservatives which can be found at http://www.ivoteforconservatives.com.
I pledge to vote for good, strong conservatives on Nov. 2, wrote Huckabee in an e-mail to supporters. Weve had tens of thousands of voters already respond and weve set a goal of identifying 500,000-plus conservative voters.
We all know whats at stake in the upcoming election and now its time to mobilize conservative voters nationwide, continued Huckabee. Taking back the Congress in 2010 is step one. Winning back the White House is step two.
But it all starts this November, he concluded. Im committed to voting for conservatives this election, and I hope you are too.
