Mike Huckabee Continues to Pound Bill Nelson

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee offered an update on Tuesday on his efforts to help Republicans defeat Democratic U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson in 2012. Huckabee, who moved to Florida last year, has vowed to help Republicans through HuckPAC, his personal leadership PAC.

Last week, I reached out to a small group of Florida voters and asked them to consider an immediate donation to help stop U.S. Senator Bill Nelson and the budget-busting Democrats in Washington, noted Huckabee in an e-mail sent out to supporters on Tuesday. Since then we've received a flood of support because your neighbors across the Sunshine State are fed up with the big-spending, big-government politicians who refuse to listen to common-sense Floridians.

After all, you made it clear that you didn't want bailouts, you didn't want the stimulus package and you sure didn't want Obamacare, added Huckabee. But it appears your opinions didn't matter to Florida's Democrat U.S. Senator Bill Nelson -- because Senator Nelson voted for the bailouts, for the stimulus and for Obamacare. Senator Nelson, like all of the Democrats up for re-election in 2012, is a large reason our nation is going bankrupt.
