Mike Haridopolos, John Tobia at Launch of Common Core Foe Randy Fine's House Bid

Businessman Randy Fine formally kicked off his bid for the Florida House on Thursday. 

With his family at his side, Fine spoke about his opposition to Common Core and how those standards negatively impacted his son’s education. 

Fine is running for the seat currently held by state Rep. John Tobia, R-Melbourne Beach, who faces term limits in 2016. Tobia was on hand for the event as were former state Senate President Mike Haridopolos, Florida House candidate Monique Miller and Bob White, the chairman of the state Republican Liberty Caucus (RLC).
