Mike Fasano Expands Concealed Weapon Permit Process in Pasco County

Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano announced on Wednesday that his office will expand concealed weapon permit. Fasano said the Gulf Harbors branch in New Port Richey will start issuing those permits on Aug. 20. 

 “As tax collector my top priority is customer service,” Fasano said on Wednesday.  “Concealed weapons are important to many of our customers.  To meet this need we began processing concealed weapons permit applications earlier this summer.  Recently the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services has given approval for our office to also process renewal applications.  New applicants will be able to visit our office and quickly go through the steps to apply for a concealed weapons permit renewal.  Existing permit holders will now be able to submit their application through our office as well.  The concealed weapons application and renewal will be sent to Tallahassee for approval and issuance.”
