Wondering what's become of former U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez?
JP Morgan Chase and Co. has hired him as chairman for Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Mel has been a business and civic leader and a role model in Florida for decades, Jamie Dimon, chairman and CEO of JP Morgan Chase, told the Orlando Business Journal. He has served the people of Florida well at both the local and national level, and now he will help JP Morgan Chase continue our expansion to serve the consumers, businesses and communities of Florida and the region.
Martinez had been working for the lobbyist group DLA Piper in Tampa.
