Meek Team's Pre-Debate Volley Against Jeff Greene

An hour before the first debate with Jeff Greene, U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meeks team is already trying to spin the clash between the two leading candidates for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate.

On Friday, billionaire Jeff Greene came to the Palm Beach Post to meet with the paper's editorial board, wrote Meek campaign manager Abe Dyk in a memo. Today, he will return to the Palm Beach Post to debate Kendrick Meek. Will he continue to make false claims about his past? Will he continue to dodge important questions, make contradictory statements, and prove that he doesn't know enough about the issues to fight for middle-class Floridians?

This debate pits a Wall Street billionaire, who used investments Warren Buffett called financial weapons of mass destruction to help wreck the middle class, against a lifelong public servant who isn't afraid to tackle big issues and fight for middle class families, continued Dyk. Kendrick Meek is the only candidate in this race who middle-class Floridians can trust to fight for them.
