McCollum Team Continues to Attack Scott on HCA/Columbia and Abortion
Bill McCollums campaign team continued their attacks on Rick Scott, the health care executive now leading the Republican gubernatorial contest.
In the spirit of openness and transparency, Bill McCollum will release his tax returns in the next 14 days, said McCollum communications director Kristy Campbell. We challenge Rick Scott to do the same.
The McCollum campaign continued to blast Scotts record in the private sector.
Rick Scott has already begun to distance himself from his questionable business decisions, said Campbell. When asked about them today, he said others made those decisions for me. It is ironic that Rick Scott, who profited from the largest theft of taxpayer money in American history at the time, claims he will bring accountability to government while blaming everyone else for his mistakes.
Campbell challenged Scotts record on social issues and insisted that Scott was not a conservative on these matters.
Before he claimed hes pro-life, Rick Scott profited from elective abortions. And before Rick Scott claimed he has family values, we now know he is profiting from a Mexican social networking site partnering with Playboy, said Campbell. By August 24, one thing will be clear: Floridians will reject the notion that the governors mansion is for sale and will refuse to allow someone who stole their money to run the fourth largest state in the nation.
