Mary Thomas Unveils Support of Asian American Hotel Owners Association

The Asian American Hotel Owners Association threw its support behind Mary Thomas, the Tallahassee attorney running for the Republican nomination to take on U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham, D-Fla., in November. 

"Hotel owners are some of the most successful enterpreneurs in Florida and America,” Thomas said as she announced the endorsement on Thursday. “That's because they are dedicated to providing quality and affordable accommodations to the millions of visitors who come to Florida each year. Thanks to free enterprise, these businesses thrive despite government over-regulation and high corporate taxes. The federal government needs to get out of the way and let these hotel owners run their businesses, provide quality goods and services, and grow good jobs. That's the American dream that I am fighting to preserve.”

Thomas faces Dr. Neal Dunn in the Republican primary.
